This lamp is the first of an on going series of hand-built ceramic functional objects made with Brooklyn red clay and hand painted with underglaze. Curves, softened edges and a muted palette of pastel colors give this design a warm feeling. This series is about creating a safe, imaginative space for a kid’s room with friendly faces that can help ward off the monsters under the bed.
