I designed and built a vanity and stool inspired by the playful charm of children's toys and the everyday ritual of getting ready in the morning. Crafted from ash wood, the piece features a smooth, clean form that balances elegance with a sense of whimsy. The stool is topped with a soft upholstered cushion, inviting comfort and adding a gentle contrast to the wood’s natural texture. The overall design is both interesting and approachable and playful yet refined. My goal was to create a piece that not only enhances the user’s space but also brings a moment of joy and familiarity to their daily routine.
